OUR SURVEYS

Asbestos Surveys enable all clients to comply with The Control of Asbestos Regulations (CAR) 2012.

  • Asbestos Management Surveys
    An Asbestos survey involving minor intrusive sampling and some disturbance, required during the normal occupation and use of the buildings to ensure continued management of the Asbestos containing materials (ACM’S) in situ.
  • Refurbishment & Demolition Surveys
    An Asbestos survey which is a fully intrusive inspection to gain access to all areas. This is required when the building or part of it is to be upgraded, refurbished or demolished. 
  • All surveys can be tailor made to a client’s specification to target individual areas.

SAMPLING AND TESTING

  • We offer an Asbestos sampling service, from just one sample to multiple, as required.
  • Our surveyors will take a sample of suspected Asbestos containing material from your site/home for analysis.
  • Samples are analysed by an independent UKAS accredited laboratory.
  • We provide a full sample report from the results of the analysis, identifying the Asbestos and product confirming whether it is a licensed or non-licensed product.

PREVENT EXPOSURE – CHECK YOUR PREMISES – KEEP ASBESTOS UNDER CONTROL

  • Asbestos surveys identify Asbestos Containing Materials (ACMs).
  • If you are buying a property, which was built prior to the year 2000, it is possible that it may contain Asbestos materials and an Asbestos Survey is highly recommended.
  • For non-domestic properties we can help the duty holder to manage Asbestos in your premises, a legal requirement under Reg 4 of CAR 2012.
  • Our team of BOHS P402 qualified and experienced Asbestos surveyors work closely with you, tailoring and planning our services to provide you with the right survey in accordance with HSG 264 (second edition, published 2012).

TAILOR-MADE SURVEYS

  • External Area Surveys
    Should you need it, we are able to survey roofs, soffits, fascia boards and back gardens where it is possible that Asbestos could be buried.
  • Targeted Area/Item and Single Room Asbestos Surveys
    We’re often asked to survey small areas such as loft spaces, boiler rooms, kitchens and gardens. We can carry out an Asbestos management or refurbishment and demolition survey to any specific area, item and or room.
