Meet the team

Vicky Owens Asbestos & Demolition Director

Vicky Owens

Asbestos & Demolition Director

Vicky is the granddaughter of Samuel Roberts, the founder of the company, which started in Bridgwater more than 90 years ago.

After gaining a degree in Hotel Management, Vicky came into the business in 1993 to learn the demolition industry from the ground up, alongside her father Terry Roberts and eventually took over completely after his retirement in 2004.

In 2006, Vicky wanted to set high standards for asbestos removal in the demolition sector and established S Roberts Group Licensed Asbestos division, growing the business department and ensuring all demolition operatives became asbestos licensed trained, alongside the asbestos removal operatives and supervisors.

The asbestos division has now become a major part of the S Roberts group.

Vicky believes that good communication, service, standards and support are the key to a successful business – most importantly happy staff and customers.
